Compromise Fuzzy LP with Fuzzy Objective Function Coefficients and Fuzzy Constraints
For large-scale production planning problems, it is observed that there has been lack of precise information on the various parameters that need industry’s utmost attention. These imprecise information often hinder decision makers to make a fruitful decision in regard to optimal product-mix to be manufactured. To make it ease for the decision makers while making a robust decision for product-mix optimization problems, a fuzzy linear programming (FLP) model is presented in this paper. The present methodology is a fuzzy linear programming model having fuzzification of both the objective function coefficients and fuzzy resources. An example of a chocolate manufacturing firm
has been delineated to validate the practicability o f the proposed FLP approach. The degree of optimality and the level-of-satisfaction of the solution have been discussed at the end of this paper.
