Disability and Perfection
The article attempts to define the characteristics of disabled living as life in and with specific limitations. Disabled living displays in a particular way the finitude and limits of life and makes us aware of them. In view of limited life chances, the perfection of disabled life is marked in a special way by what Christian faith ultimately hopes for all life: flesh and blood are not raised, but all the vicissitudes and events that mark life are personalised, put right and perfected in preparation for a life of fullness.
