Traditional markets was formerly be the belle for the community as a perfect place to shop and meet the needs of everyday life. But with the growth in time, a title held by the belle of the traditional markets displaced by the emergence of modern stores. The emergence of modern shop makes the existence of traditional markets began to bother. Therefore, the legal protection needed to protect the existence of the traditional markets of the modern shop attack. But certainly not an appropriate measure of legal protection only if it promotes the interests of traditional markets alone. Therefore it takes the principles of economic democracy which to function as a counterweight to make a realization of the principle of fairness in the legal protection steps against the traditional market.
