The European Union's efforts in protecting religious minority rights through EU-Indonesia Human Rights Dialogue

This research aims to describe the European Union’s efforts in protecting religious minority rights through Human Rights Dialogue. The author is going to use liberalism as the main theory. International organisation, conflict resolution and soft power theories will be used to describe the EU’s efforts in the dialogue. The theory of human rights and diversity dilemma are also going to be used in order to describe the condition in Indonesia. This research has led to the conclusion that although the dialogue has been held for four times dp far, and efforts have been put to resolve the related problems, the success of the dialogue depends on the host nation.
