Pengaruh rancangan produk cat tembok jenis Satin Finish Paint merek Kan-Tona yang dilakukan oleh PT. San Central Indah terhadap keputusan membeli dari konsumen cat tembok di Wilayah Kotamadya Bandung
This research was conducted to find out the influence of
satin finish paint toward consumer purchasing decision.
Respondents were consumer's, who lived in the Bandung area.
They were chosen by the screening.
The method used in this research was survey and the
nature of this research was explanatory. The idea was to
explain the relationship between research variables and test
a hypothesis that had been previously proposed. Samples were
collected based on writer's judgement. Respondents, married
and ranging in age from 25-44, were the ones who decided
whether to buy and use the paint.
Data analysis was conducted in a quantitative and qualitative
manner. Quantitative data analysis used Spearman's Rho
correlation for counting correlation and testing the hypothesis.
Qualitative analysis was used for explaining quantitative
analysis' result.
The outcome of the quantitative research concluded that
there was a moderate positive correlation between satin and
consumer purchasing decision. The coefficient of correlation
was 0,530. There was a moderate positive correlation between
coating effectiveness and consumer purchasing decision as
well, namely 0,396. This means that satin and coating effectiveness
had an influence that led to consumer purchasing
decision.
