Optimasi struktur flat plate beton prategang
Using prestressed concrete flat plate structure as a floorsystem
in a building has several advatages. It can reduce the total
weight of the building. It enables us to use longer span, it can
reduce the overall height of the building and it makes formworking
and installating an easier job to do.
Used as the objective functions in this thesis are the
prestressing force and the total costs. This thesis is intended to
locate the optimum prestressing force by the plate thickness and the
density of the live load. It also aimed to locate the optimum total
cost by the plate thickness.
In this thesis, only gravity load will be analyzed and the
flat plate is assumed to be partially prestressed. The prestressing
force is used to balance the initial dead load.
Linear programming will be used to optimize the objective
functions. The procedure to optimize prestressing force includes
the service stresses design only, while the procedure to optimize
the total cost includes the service stresses design and the ultimate
load design.
It can be concluded that in optimizing a structure, it's not
necessary to design the whole structure, it can be concluded too
that the column face moments are more dominant than the midspan
moment in determining the concrete stresses. To simplify the
Equivalent Frame Method it's advisable to use the symmetry
algorythm.
