Simply Not a Simple Group
Proving a finite group of some given finite order is not simple is a standard homework problem in abstract algebra courses. This note contains a theorem that simplifies proving groups of many orders are not simple, yet the theorem rarely appears in undergraduate or graduate abstract algebra textbooks.
