History and Comments of EDAN at the WCC

An attempt is made in this article to map the history of the issue of disability in the ecumenical circles especially in the World Council of Churches. Various turning points/shifts in the WCC through EDAN are highlighted in this journey. A brief argument is made to present disability both as a theology and mission of the church and how EDAN has contributed and shaped it.
