Incarnation, Territoriality, and New Pastoral Paths : the Itinerary of REPAM and the Amazon Synod
The Amazon Synod, a milestone in recent ecclesiology, has it origin in an experience of territorial pastoral praxis that found its point of great development with the Pan-Amazonian Ecclesial Network (REPAM). This network is the result of the embodied experience of church members in this territory; who through light and shadow, have helped to outline inculturated and intercultural pastoral perspectives, shaping an Amazonian face for the Church. At the juncture of the Synod and its connection with Laudato Si', new paths are opened to respond to the most urgent challenges of the territory, and as paradigm for a pastoral reflection to the whole Church.
