Theology of the Quilombo : Afro-Brazilian Spiritual Resistance
Immersed in a structurally racist society, which tries to camouflage a necropolitical approach under the myth of racial democracy. Afro-Brazilian spiritual resistance has taken place through the subjectification process of becoming black. A paradoxical process: on the one hand, other, joyous because we are building our identity as an Afro-Brazilian people. It is a process that implies the recovery of our imago Dei (Image of God) and the emergence of a new humanity.
