CH4/CO2 Dual Gas Mid-Infrared Anti-Resonance Fiber Optic Sensor for Head and Neck Cancer Detection
A four-ring nested anti-resonant nodeless fiber gas sensor is first designed, which is used for dual gas sensing of CO 2 and CH 4 in the mid-infrared band by photothermal method. Two lasers with operating wavelengths of 2.683 μ m and 3.316 μ m were used as the CO 2 and CH 4 spectrum measurement light sources. When the sensor senses CO 2 and CH 4 , its sensitivity can reach 3.59 ×10−13 W/m 2 and 5.338 ×10−17 W/m 2 , respectively. And the maximum error ratio when the sensor size changes ± 0.3 % is 0.318 %, which has good fault tolerance. By simulating the content of the two gases in the exhaled air of the human body, the proportional relationship of the volatile organic compounds related to head and neck cancer is obtained, and the preliminary diagnosis of whether the examiner has head and neck cancer is completed. It realizes the non-invasive real-time measurement of human head and neck cancer risk, which has high application value in clinical medicine.
