Suatu tinjauan mengenai pengadaan pegawai di Citibank N.A. Jakarta
To support the efforts of achieving the objectives
and to maintain the continuity of the company, the human
resources holds a key role. In other words, the right
people are needed to fill the jobs in the company.
In the efforts to bring this into being, the first
activity of human resources management, i.e. procurement
of employee become very important. This activity consists
of recruitment, selection, and placement of employeee.
The three processes in this procurement, are
aimed to obtain employees who are able to devote their
energies in their jobs in the company.
This study is intended to describe the execution of
the procurement of employees of the Citibank N.A.
Jakarta. In executing the procurement of employees, this
company favours internal soL7rces. Besides, if it is
necessary external sources are called upon, via
advertisement, and casual applicants. The selection
procesees are performed based on the education,
experience, skill, and health of the applicants. After
decision of acceptance has been made, the new employee
Will go through a probationary period for three months,
and there after placed permanently. This method of
procurement of employees is kept on by Citibank N.A.
Jakarta as this method is considered to be adequate and
can fulfill the company-s need of employees.
This study concludes that the method practised by
Citibank N.A. Jakarta in procurement of employees - which
is kept on up to this writing - has been well performed.
