Kebijakan Inggris untuk menangani child abuse dalam kerangka kebijakan Uni Eropa
This qualitative research is aimed to describe how the United Kingdom Government issued a policy based on the theory of human rights and compatibility with the regulations issued by the European Union. Violations of the rights ol children from child abuse cases still being experienced by the United Kingdom as a developed country. This led the British to issue policy as an attempt to deal with cases of child abuse. Related to this research, Author collects the data through the study of documents, articles, journals, reports, and websites. The United Kingdom issued a policy to handle child abuse through Green Paper. In the Green Paper, the Government stated that it will protect the rights of children. Thus, rhe Government then created the Children Act 2004 about children services with this new structure. Both the Green Paper and Children Act 2004 policies show a compatibility with the European Convention on Human Rights, namely the European Union's policy in responding to human rights. Finally, based on data obtained in this research, it can be concluded that the United Kingdom has been flying to protect the rights of children according to its policy for building the welfare of children.
