Studi perbandingan sistem pelat metal deck dengan pelat konvensional pada bangunan 5 lantai berdasarkan SNI 1726-2002
Recently, metal deck slab system in structural construction have any
advantages and disadvantage compared to the conventional system. This thesis
studied about designing building using metal deck and conventional slab. Live
load for metal deck same as conventional slab. Beams were designed applying for
both of type is same. Analysis and design of the building are provided by ET ABS
V9.7.l and SAP 2000.14. The building which will be designed is a 5 floors
building used as office located in the earthquake zone 4, on the medium soil layer
according to SNI-1726-2002. From the results of analysis and design, it could be
concluded that the metal deck can work as formwork and tension reinforcement
on the bottom side. When metal deck work as formwork, this structure need two
support that metal deck can provide the load. Less of concrete volume is one of
the advantages from metal deck
