Peran UNPROFOR dalam proses perdamaian di Bosnia Herzegovina (1992-1995)

Three and a half years war conduct in Bosnia Herzegovina had caused great suffering of civillian which show on number of the death, displaced person, rapist victim, and victim of other violence conduct. All this was originated by the breakup of Yugoslavia on which Great Serbia ambition propaganda as its causation.
Deployment of UNPROFOR in Bosnia Herzegovina lacking feasible precondition to an establishment of peacekeeping operation was contributed a unique charateristic to UNPROFOR. Albeit, requisition to UNPROFOR to play active role in peace process became its consequence.
Peace process happened in Bosnia, which led by international organisation, and regional arrangement was seized a long term, even, in general they already shared common framework consist, effort of preventive diplomacy, peacekeeping, peacemaking, and post-conflict peace building.
An agreement signed by warring party leaders that committed in a peace talk at Dayton, USA has ended the three and a half years brutal war. The meeting itself, however was the most significant moment of peace process in Bosnia Herzegovina.
The role analysis of UNPROFOR in Bosnian peace process offers us an understanding to consequences of deployment of a peacekeeping force lacking clear and practicable mandates. One of these outcomes is a hypothesis about its existence were being target of hostility act which thus became exhortation to great power involvement in peace process. The US under Contact Group guidance had facilitated achievement of peace accord that ends the Bosnian war and leaves a step of the process, which was Post-Conflict peace building measures.
This research is aimed at describing role of UNPROFOR in peace process both in its deployment framework and out of that at its actual existences.
