The relationship between job demands with workplace well-being on workers at branch office of company “X”

According to the Ministry of Industry of the Republic of Indonesia, Textile and Textile Products Industry (TPT) is one of the industries that is being prioritized to be developed because it has a strategic role in the national economy, namely as a contributing foreign exchange country, absorbing labor in large numbers, and as an industry Dependable to meet national clothing needs. Company "X" is one of the foreign companies originating from South Korea and is engaged in the garment. Since 2015, Company "X" has a branch office located in West Java with a total of 31 employees.
Each job must have the demands of each that must be met by the workers and employers. Workers are required to complete their tasks in accordance with the wishes of the company, while on the other hand, the company must be able to meet the needs of workers, one of which is the welfare of workers. Workplace well-being (employee well-being) is the component closest to worker and workplace environment because workers spend most of their time in the workplace. Therefore, the purpose of this research is to know the relationship between job demands and workplace well-being in employees of Company Branch "X".
This research was conducted by spreading questionnaires to all employees of Company Branch "X". Used Spearman Rank correlation to know the relationship between a dependent variable that is job demands (X) and independent variable that is workplace well-being (Y). The results of this study indicate no relationship between the two variables (rho = 0.146, p> 0.05, two-tailed). Although there is no relationship between the two variables, the authors suggest that the company can review the work demands provided so that it can be adjusted to the actual situation and the formation of human resource divisions for branch offices.
