Aplikasi mode: simulasi dalam menentukan model sistem produksi terbaik dengan memperhatikan penempatan buffer dan ukuran transfer batch dalam studi kasus di PT XYZ
Such arrangement is necessary to be done so a company can do its activity
efficiently. Thus that company can still compete in the market. One of such
arrangement that can be done is arrangement in production system area
regarding buffer procurement and transfer batch size. The arrangement of buffer
procurement and transfer 6acfh size must be done exactly to achieve an efficient
production flow line.
The models that will be simulated are production system support model,
production system model Which is currently applied ( push system ), and
4 proposal of production system model. Production system models being
proposed are JIT production system model ( pull system ), TOC production
system model, HYBRID 1 production system model ( push-pull system ), and
HYBRID 2 production system model. HYBRID 1 production system model will
apply the combination of JIT production system policy and TOC production
system policy. HYBRID 2 production system model is a being modified TOC
production system model ( being developed further ).
From production system models being simulated, it can be seen that production
system models being proposed is always better than production system models
being applied right now. If only reviewed manufacturing lead time percentage
reduction aspect ( flow efficiency improvement ), it can be seen that TOC
production system model is the best production system model. If only reviewed
buffer procurement cost aspect, it can be seen that HYBRID 2 production system
model is the best production system model.
If both aspects, manufacturing lead time percentage reduction aspect and buffer
procurement cost aspect are being reviewed, it can be seen that company profit
will become optimal if HYBRID 2 production system model being applied. This
research results show that buffer procurement and smaller transfer batch size
can speed up production line flow without a significant cost.
